Frequently asked questions
Where do lessons take place?
In-person lessons are available in East Village, E20, either at the tutor’s home studio or in your home locally. The nearest tube is Stratford International and lessons are taught on a grand piano. Feel free to get in touch to discuss location and availability.
What times are available?
Adult lessons are primarily offered on weekdays during the daytime and some evenings. Lessons for children take place on weekday afternoons between 4pm and 7pm. You're welcome to enquire to check current availability.
Do you teach absolute beginners?
Yes – adults and children, complete beginners through to advanced. The first lesson is unhurried and there's no obligation to continue.
Do you prepare students for ABRSM exams?
Yes. Full coaching is available for ABRSM piano exams, including scales, sight-reading, aural and repertoire.
Can we play jazz and pop, not just classical?
Absolutely. Lessons sit on a classical foundation, but jazz, pop and film music are all part of the picture if that's what you love.
How does pricing work?
